Boxford, Massachusetts

Annual Town Meeting Information Center (Town of Boxford)

Problem

Low trust stalls collaboration, leadership emergence, and shared risk-taking.

Solution

Boxford, an open-town-meeting town of about 8,100 in Essex County, publishes for each Annual Town Meeting a web page titled the Annual Town Meeting Information Center (boxfordma.gov/TownMeeting20XX) that carries the official warrant, the text of each article, sponsor and committee recommendations, and a written explanation and background for every article, alongside a pre-meeting Moderator's Forum, a mailed warrant and postcards with a QR code. Confirmed for the 2025 and 2026 meetings.
