Front Porch Forum (Bristol, VT forum)

Problem

Low trust stalls collaboration, leadership emergence, and shared risk-taking.

Solution

Front Porch Forum is a Vermont public benefit corporation founded in Burlington in 2006 that hosts about 200 town and neighborhood forums; members register with a real name and street address, every post is read by a staff moderator before publication, and posts are bundled into a daily issue delivered by email, app and website. Bristol has had a forum since roughly 2010, residents post there under their names and streets, and the Town of Bristol designates FPF as an official meeting-notice posting location.
